How do I restart a download
To restart a download, go to the
ACCOUNT
page and click on one of your order numbers, when the order details appear click the Download button.
My download doesn't start
If you get an error in your web browser which says
The page can not be displayed
with an address like this dmdp://ABC123XYZ456DEF789 or
The protocol (dmdp) isn't associated with any program
then you probably don't have our download software installed. Click
HERE
to install it.
I get an error while installing the download software
If the error message says
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class
your installation of Windows Media Player is corrupt. You need to uninstall and then reinstall Media Player.
The download software can't connect to digiRAMA
If you get an error message saying
Can't connect to the digiRAMA download web service
but you can open www.digirama.co.nz with your web browser you are probably using a browser other than Internet Explorer with specific internet connection settings e.g. for a proxy server. Our download software uses the default Windows internet connection settings as defined in Internet Explorer. Make sure Internet Explorer is able to connect to www.digirama.co.nz and try again.
Alternatively you may be running software on your computer that is blocking our download tool. Check the Windows system tray (usually located in the bottom-right corner of the screen, next to the time) and locate the icon that is associated with the security program that you are using. Right-click the icon to enter the settings.
Some of the common programs that could block digiRAMA include Norton Internet Security, McAfee Firewall, ZoneAlarm Firewall, Microsoft Windows Live OneCare, Trend Micro PC-cillin & NOD32
To create an exception for digiRAMA, open the settings of your security program and locate a section for adding exceptions for specific programs. You will need to unblock or allow internet access to "C:\Program Files\Digirama\MediaInstaller.exe".
digiRAMA is automatically added to the list of exceptions in the Windows firewall on install. The Windows firewall should not need to be configured.
If you continue to get this error message,
contact support.
My download starts but then I get an error message
If the error message says
The security components of Windows Media Player are missing or corrupt
then you should follow the steps presented in the download tool to resolve the problem.
Note. Older versions of the download software may not include these steps, in which case you should install the latest version
HERE.
If this process doesn't resolve the issue,
contact support.
If the error message says
A security upgrade is required
go to Microsoft's
Security Update
page using Internet Explorer and click the "Upgrade" button. Once the upgrade process has completed, restart your download from digiRAMA.
If you get some other message, try downloading the latest version of our software
HERE.
Make sure you are logged in to your computer as Administrator or an account with administrative privileges. Also try temporarily disabling any Firewall, Virus or Spyware software that you may have installed.
Media Player says I don't have a license to play music or video that I have purchased
Some of the music and video available from digiRAMA is copy-protected. If you get this error message it means the computer you are using is missing the license that will allow it to play. This can occur if you've got a new PC or have reinstalled your operating system. To download new licenses for music or video that you have purchased go to the
ACCOUNT
page and click on an order, when the order details appear click the Download button.
Media Player errors when I try to play music or video that I have downloaded
Make sure you have the latest version of Media Player for your operating system installed. Click
HERE
to check.
If you're running Windows Vista and Media Player says "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file" click the "Web Help" button. If the error message is "C00D7159: The policies that the Input Trust Authority requires to be enforced are unsupported by the outputs" then you will need to edit the registry as follows. Use Regedit.exe and locate the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Audio. Set the value for DisableProtectedAudioDG to 0. Restart Media Player.
Try Microsoft's
